The VRU compressor consists of an Ariel JGJ2 gas compressor driven by a Caterpillar G3406TA gas engine (rated for 276 BHP @ 1800 rpm). Natgas also installed on this unit an Engine Integrated Control System (EICS) to optimize engine performance and maintain carbon emission compliance.
